Anheuser-Busch recently unveiled a GF beer called Redbridge.
I was FINALLY able to get my hands on some today. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it sitting on the shelf staring at me with that "please take me home" look.
So, I tried it out this evening and it's pretty darn good and it's the closest thing i've found that tastes like real beer. This has been a GLORIOUS day for this Celiac!!!!
Oh and the best part.......it's AFFORDABLE!!! $7.19-$7.99 a six pack (although i've heard from my Celiac friends that they have found it for as little as $6.99)!!! This is a BIG difference from the $10.99-$12.99 per six pack that I was having to pay for New Grist or Bard's Tale.
In addition, I've also heard that some bars and restaurants may start carrying Redbridge. That's even more exciting...WOW, to actually go out with friends and enjoy a beer again over great conversation and lots of laughter makes my year!!
Thank you Anheuser-Busch for your brilliance in developing a GF beer that tastes good and thank you for not ripping off the beer drinkin' Celiacs in the world by keeping it priced reasonably! It is WONDERFUL to be able to afford and enjoy a beer again!!!
