This weekend I hit the pitch in NC where I participated in a rugby clinic. It was great! Very helpful and I learned a lot. First and foremost I learned that playing rugby in 100 degree temps sucks and that sunblock is NOT optional. It was great to see high school AND middle school kids out learning the game too. They did excellent in the scrimmage matches!!Later that evening the "of age" players participiated in a pub crawl where we were required to wear our rugby socks. We got some interesting looks, but it was a great way to spread the word about playing rugby! I was home by midnight due to being so exhausted from the heat, but it was fun to enjoy some down time & a few drinks after working so hard on the pitch all day.Not much else to report. Roxy and I are enjoying a lazy Sunday!
