Our bodies & stress and the link to WATER!!!

Hydrating our bodies with water is vital b/c:

* The entire nervous system is based on electrical connections.

* Water is an excellent conductor of electricity.

* Electrical and chemical connections in the brain are dependent upon proper hydration.

In addtion:

* Water flushes toxins from environmental factors, poor food choices and drug residues from our vital organs,.

* Water keeps organs and skin hydrated and functioning properly.

* Dehydration has been linked to depression, asthma, allergies, fatigue and irritability.

* Water releases excess fluids from the system (so yes ladies, drink water when you are retaining water)!!!

* Americans consume more soft drinks than coffee, tea and juice combined.

* Over 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated and they don't even know it.

* Lack of water is the #1 cause of daytime fatigue.

* Even mild dehydration slows down one's metabolism by as much as 3%.

* As little as 2% of drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math and difficulty focusing on a computer screen.

* 1 glass of water before bed cured midnight hunger pains for virtually 100% of those studied.

START HYDRATING TODAY:
Drink 8-10, 8oz glasses of water a day.
Plus another 8oz for each cup of caffeinated beverages you consume.
