Day 1 in TEXAS!!!
It's been a long day of flyin' but i've finally landed here in the big state of Texas!! I'm a sicky Texas Turtle....The first part of my day was spent at the doctor...then at the phamacy picking up potent doses of antibiotics to kill these cooties!! Finally after a nap, gallons of juice and quarts of hot tea w/ honey i'm starting to feel a smidge better....Despite being under the weather today and feeling like a truck has ran over me, I still found time to swing by "Boot City" (that's Ken and MaryAnn's store) where I caught a deal on ropers and a new black cowgirl hat!! This evening i'm taking it easy resting up for tomorrow's big day of sports. I got the TTU basketball game in the morning, then UGA vs. Kentucky game @ 12:30 and then i'll be off @ the TTU vs. Oklahoma game tomorrow nite. Look for me on TV! We scored GREAT seats (50yard line-ish).
