Todd Miller, #10 for Longwood Men's Rugby suffered a devastating headinjury during, yesterday's game against VMI. Comfortably leading atabout the 50 minute mark, Todd made a tackle and seemed shaken. Heplayed for a few more minutes and then asked to be subbed out. On thesidelines, he went unconscious and did not wake up. The ambulance wascalled, he was taken to Farmville Hospital and was immediatelyairlifted to MCV in Richmond. At MCV they performed brain surgery andas of this AM he has not regained consciousness. His mother and otherfriends of the family are there while he recovers in neurologicalintensive care. The prognosis is uncertain.Obviously, we do not want to impose on the family, but I have askedhis mother to keep me informed as much as is reasonable and I willpass on any information I have. Please reach as many ex-Longwoodplayers as possible and ask them to keep Todd in their thoughts and prayers.
