We're preparing in the event of Tropical Storm Hannah who may regain strength and become Hurricane Hannah by the weekend. Word on the street is she's heading up the east coast. Hmph!
All the while, we're also keeping watch on Tropical Storms Ike & Josephine. I'm heading home to organize and pack my emergency disaster team bag in the event I get called out to work the shelter, rescue animals, etc. For the rest of you anywhere along the path of these storms, remember the first thing to go is almost always the electricity so get prepared NOW! Load up on non-perishable food, batteries, flashlights, bottled water, diapers (if you have kiddos), plan for your pets, etc. DO NOT wait until the last minute. Wal Mart and grocery store lines will be hell on earth.
