Well, it's official....North Carolina just got it's first FEMALE governor. I'm not sure how I feel about ol' Bev Perdue, but I know one thing, I am looking forward to seeing Easley pack up his bags & head out of the mansion. If I could volunteer to help him pack I would. Oh and I hope Bev Perdue comes w/ a REALLY good mop, because she's gonna need something durable to clean up the mess that Easley is leaving for her.......
In other NC election news....Elizabeth Dole is out and Kay Hagan is in. Hagan is the first Democrat to hold the seat since Sen. Jesse Helms took it for the GOP in 1972. Hmmmm....
