This week/weekend in review...

This past week has been another pollen filled week and apparently spring has decided to only last about 5 days this year. That's right, it's HOT and it feels like summer already. Southern heat is the devil.....and this pollen needs to ship out already.

Speaking of the snots and such......I spent a few days this week battling what I thought was allergies to learn it was instead some kinda flu & not allergies @ all. And NO, I do not have the Swine Flu. I am feeling better, but continue to hack on occassion which then leaves me to endure the wonderful feeling in my chest that feels like it might explode.

Also this past week, I had the MRI for my shoulder. I find out the results next week (or I guess I should say this week since Monday is tomorrow). Overall the MRI was fine except for the part where I freaked out the MRI guy b/c I nearly passed out on him. The up side of the MRI, was that I have learned I really like those "I don't give a shit about anything" pills that they prescribe to you if you're clausterphobic. It's just a shame they didn't last long enough and that we can't have access to those more often. Who knows, might make the world a better, more peaceful place. HA!

The remainder of my weekend has consisted of resting and watching rugby & hockey. GO CANES! Also, my friend Kerri is in town for a visit so she and I ventured off to the flea market today (just like we used to do when she lived here). It was a great day and I realized today just how much I miss her. She is one of a kind and we have the best time when we hang out. And what can I say, we share a special talent for being tacky. HAHA!
