This week has been super busy and I can't believe it's Thursday already. Let's see...Tuesday night I took myself to Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Championship where I watched the Canes lose to the Bruins 4-2. We played icky and needless to say I was not pumped about having to watch them lose when they should have taken the win and been done w/ the series already. But..it is what it is and with that said we will play Game 7 tonight in Boston. Hope our boys can step it up, get in the groove and clench this. If not, I will still walk away a very proud Caniac fan as we've made it further than anyone expected and we definately have alot of talent to build on for next year. And of course I enjoy calling up my brother to "discuss" it (that's the nice way of saying rubbing it in).
I started my shouder rehab on Monday. So far it's going okay just have to remind myself not to lift anything heavy, etc. and stay on a routine/schedule with applying the gel 4x's per day & icing 2x's per day. I'm on day 4 and have not seen any improvement yet.
In random Turtle news....I have officially supported 1,550 men and women who have or who are serving our country overseas. Thank you to all of you who continue to donate monetarily to assist me with the cost of postage so that I can continue to send care packages from home to our deployed troops. If anyone is interested in making a contribution, please email me.
