Random Updates Including "DIRTY BEAVER" Information!!!!

1. After several crappy days, Dylan is finally having a "up" day! Hopefully this is a sign that the stem cells are regrafting & it'll only improve from here. Thanks to everyone who's kept the Beach family in your thoughts & prayers. Keep em' coming!!!

2. I got my 1st blog "follower" today. Thanks Fran the Frog.

3. Over the weekend I had an email from my brother stating "did you get my package yet"? My initial response was "HUH??? Package"???? (My brother isn't exactly one to send packages). But, off to the post office I went first thing Monday morning to check my PO Box and to my surprise I learned that my brother was not kidding around. He did in fact send me a package. Well, actually Amazon sent it, anyway...I busted that thing open to find a book that my brother ordered for me. It's a book about Celiac Disease & living GF (gluten-free).

NOW, to some of you this seems boring & lame, but what you don't realize is that this simple, very thoughtful gift really means a lot to me. The reason being is that within the first few chapters I FINALLY had some answers to some questions I have been trying to get answers to for YEARS regarding this disease. I'm absolutely amazed by this book. And MAYBE, just MAYBE I'll learn some new things and find some new avenues to take for those things I still battle each day w/ this disease. Don't worry, I'll be blogging more about this topic as I continue to read this book so stay tuned b/c you too could learn alot. In fact, if it were up to me, I'd put this book on every required reading list in America b/c this country needs some SERIOUS Celiac Disease education. (More to come.....stay tuned)

4. Tomorrow I'm heading to hang out w/ my Aunt & Uncle. I can't wait. I'm very close w/ them and enjoy getting to see them this time each year. Uncle Dave & I will be hitting the road to the race shops as we traditionally do each year. Hope we fall into something really cool. I'll let ya know.

5. Rugby Update: The USA fell to Ireland this past Sunday out in California. There was some messy play going on but none-the-less always fun to watch a rugby match. Especially from the comfort of your own home in the A/C.

This weekend we'll be treking to Fayettnam for Airborne 7's. Kick off @ 9am @ the Jordan Soccer Park. Be there and wear sunblock!!!

6. Saturday evening I will be attending my first Beaver Queen Padgeant. My friend Dirty is a contestant and I am one of her "Beaver Handlers". Please come support her and vote for her. She'll be doing something wild on the slip n' slide as the "talent portion" of the contest so you can bet it will be a very entertaining evening.
