Triad 7's...a lil' recap

Last weekend a super fun crew of us traveled to Greensboro, NC for the Triad 7's rugby tourney. Although the tourney has been running annually for the last 13 years, this was my first time attending. In years past, other things just always seemed to conflict w/ the date, so I was super excited to finally get to hang out in my birth town and enjoy some RUGBY!! Not to mention, finally get to hang out w/ some of the Triad and UNCG girls whom I talk to over the net all the time but never really get to see in real time.

Despite the heat index at 100 degrees, the rugby gods shone down upon us w/ a light breeze and the Ft. Bragg Boys were kind enough to set up a kiddie pool (the most brilliant idea to show up at a summer rugby tourney yet). Between the cold GF beer and wading in the pool, I was living the good life on the sidelines. After a great day of play we headed out to the Pour House where we "socialized" in fine rugby fashion. I would also like to take this opportunity to point out how fabulous my Bragg ladies are in giving the Bragg boys an ass beating via a boat race. I have some lovely video coverage of this for anyone who needs to see such a glorious win on camera!
