This week leads to HALLOWEEN and GA/FLA!!!!

Not a whole lot to report....I've been really busy getting things sorted out for when I go out for surgery. I had no idea the amount of details that this would entail. FMLA paperwork, short term disability on stand-by in case I need it, meeting after meeting about work and returning to work, finding a PT, figuring out how to get around since I can't drive for nearly a month, finding someone to wash/dry my hair, exercise my dog, etc. Everything seems to be getting done and I should be ready to go when the big day arrives in just over a week. Looking forward to knocking this out and getting back on the pitch!!!

I've also been busy getting ready for my other favorite holiday..........HALLOWEEN!!! This year we'll be @ Ft. Bragg for a Leather n' Lace/Prom Dress Coed Rugby match (and of course a social AND an after party to follow). Kick off is @ 1pm and everyone is welcome. Halloween weekend will be my last hurrah for a while (yeah right) so I'm really fired up for some quality shenanigan's & YES, I am planning on taking the pitch. I can't wait!!! Today I put the finishing touches on my costume and I cannot stop laughing. All I'll say about it is that it'll consist of me being a red-headed midget sporting powder blue leather. Here's a sneak peak of my red-headed midget halloween hair. Not bad for an irish lass if I do say so myself....then again I look @ these and feel like I could pull of Bonnie Rait....??? HAHA!

As if Halloween isn't exciting enough, we've also got the WORLD's LARGEST COCKTAIL PARTY happening this Saturday too. The GA/FLA game will air on CBS @ 3:30. And as a little piece of history to this annual event I'd like to note that the first game was played on Nov. 15th, 1915 where UGA beat FL 37-0 and let it also be known that on Nov. 7th, 1942 UGA holds the largest vistory over FLA beating them 75-0.
