"SHOULDERS TOGETHER"
In July 2009, I started working towards establishing an AMBUCS chapter for the RDU area. I am excited to announce that on March 11, 2010 we were officially chartered as the fourth new chapter of 2009-10. A very special thank you goes out to the Lubbock Monterey, TX chapter, who served as the sparkplug for getting us up and running with their ongoing support & encouragement. In addition, I'd also like to thank Jason (RDU Chapter Treasurer) and Anna (RDU Chapter Secretary) for stepping up and fulfilling these roles so that we could moved forward with successfully chartering our chapter. We are thrilled to be a part of such a awesome family & look forward to making a difference in the lives of those with disabilities in the RDU area.

We welcome new members all throughout the year and would love to have you join us. In addition, we are always eager to speak with individuals, businesses, etc. who would like to make a donation or work together to help us fundraise for the monies needed to buy AmTrykes (therapeutic trykes) for those individuals patiently waiting on our wish list.
