What happened in the final match of the Women's Rugby World Cup (NZ vs. England) as seen by me:
* A ref who took no crap and I mean NO crap (i.e. issuing NZ 3 yellow cards - 2 in the 1st half & then 1 in the 2nd which ironically was the team captain)
* A huge amount of penalties by NZ (hence the ref's aggravation & utilization of the sin bin)
* England pulling the ponytail of a NZ player as a method of tackling.
* NZ throwing out a stiff arm or 12 (to the chin & face) of any England player in their way.
* England choking on penalty kicks that coulda made the scoreboard a whole different match.
* England redeeming themselves @ 61:48 with a try AND making their conversion which tied the game @10-10.
* NZ getting an opportunity to put 3 more on the board and succeeding.
* Final Score: NZ 13 - ENG 10
* Oh and 45yrd old Anna Richards is my new idol. She's testimonial that I don't have to retire yet!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!
