Kicking off Week 15...
I'm entering week 15 post-op and have enlisted the help of my rugby coach & started working w/ a personal trainer. Coach has me on ZMA supplements which I've been taking for almost 2 weeks now. I sleep 100% better & feel a million times better when I wake up. And for those of you who know me well, I'm not as cranky. Probably b/c I'm sleeping so much better. HAHA! Both my coach & my trainer have guided me on the proper amount of protein I need to be ingesting to also assist with the rebuilding process. My trainer understands the whole gluten free diet I have to follow & has been really helpful in suggestions regarding my nutrition which will help me drop weight & tone up as we move forward in this entire process. I kicked off day 1 with my trainer yesterday. (BTW, if you're seeking someone to work your ass out, email me & I'll give you my trainer's name/number).
