I was chatting away w/ a buddy in Iraq when @ 13:52 I stated to my friend "ummm...the whole building is shaking". My friend replied "earthquake"?? I laughed at such a thought thinking an earthquake in NC??? Paaaahhhleeze, we're too busy discussing Hurricane Irene to be bothered by earthquakes. I responded to my friend with "I dunno, but my whole cubical swayed". Then I wondered if I was losing my mind. Nobody on my floor was saying anything so I honestly thought for a split second that maybe I was going loco. However, at 13:59 it was confirmed that the shaking/swaying moment that I had experienced was in fact an earthquake. HURRAY, I'm not crazy!!!
