2 Minutes!!!! WE ALL HAVE 2 MINUTES!!!

This past August, my buddy Jay's world changed in about 2 min when a tree came crashing down on him leaving him paralyzed.  (I have posted his story, written in his own words, at the end of this entry.)

I am asking that you consider paying it forward from now until 9 May (btw, May is National Mobility Awareness Month), by taking 2 min out of your day, everyday, to vote for Jay so that he has a chance at winning a wheelchair accessible van thru a contest he's entered via Mobility Solutions
The National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding mobility options for people with disabilities.

Casting you vote everyday is super quick & easy.  Click here, register & then give back by voting for Jay everyday.  (Or copy & paste this addy into your browser

Also, please join Jay’s Facebook group where you can get the daily tip for the answer to the "extra vote" question.  Yep, that's right, if you answer the daily question FIRST before you cast your regular vote everyday, he gets an additional vote!!!

Jay's Story in his own words:  "Running meant so much to me and I still can't believe I will never run again...I ran 5mi on 8/24/2013. It was just a morning shake out after a long run the day before. I was preparing to run the Myrtle Beach Half marathon in Myrtle Beach, SC. I got home and there was a tree that was leaning real bad over our road and I was afraid it would hurt someone so I decided to cut it down. As I was cutting it the top portion, of the tree, came down on me crushing my left shoulder and breaking my spine. I was considered dead immediately because I was not breathing and had no pulse. My son was there to give me CPR who never took a course. I was revived in minutes and it is my belief that it was the hand of God that helped him bring me back to life. A medical helicopter landed on the four lane to pick me up and I was flown to Johnson City, TN. I am told that the helicopter medics had to bring me back to life two more times in the air. After arriving to the Johnson City Medical Center surgeons repaired and reinforced my back with titanium rods. I had a collapsed lung and many broken ribs that were repaired. My shoulder surgery was performed two days later to repair a scapula and collar bone that were splintered. I was told later that the only thing holding my shoulder in place was skin and a little bit of muscle. I stayed at the JCMC for about twenty days to recover and then I was transported to the Shepherd Rehabilitation Center in Atlanta Georgia. It was wonderful being at the Shepherd Center and they helped me get stronger and helped me gain confidence. I stayed at the Shepherd Center for 109 days and now I am back home. I have a Facebook page that is called "Help Jay Erwin Win A Van Sweepstakes" (https://www.facebook.com/groups/780394995305794/) that you can get all the details at. What I need is as many people as we can to vote for me each day until May 9th. I need you to tell all of your friends to help!
