Update on the Girls....

The girls are continuing to do great!  Both have grown out of their winter blankets already so we've had to adjust for that. If anyone reading this has any blankets they'd like to donate to these cute rescues, please get in touch with me. 

I'm continuing to work with Saoirse on basic ground manners such as walking, woah-ing, grooming (as in standing still nicely while being groomed) and practicing taking the halter on and off.  In addition, I'm still doing a LOT of imprinting with her in hopes to break her of being so scared all the time.  

Hattie has progressed really well.  She walks nicely on the lead rope, does well with halter training and the biggest improvement in her training is that I can walk up to her in the pasture, attach the lead rope and she will walk nicely with me.  Now if Soairse will just learn to do the same instead of me having to chase her ass down I'd be thrilled.  HA!
