Ga/Kentucky Game and Latest Shoulder Status

Despite having 4 tickets to the Ga/Kentucky game & being FIRED UP to head to heaven (Sanford Stadium) and be between the hedges, I was unable to make the trek to Athens due to a lil' post-surgery setback. Of course after the outcome of the game, a part of me was glad I didn't have to witness that 2nd half live and in person. Watching it on TV was hard enough and required a dose of Oxycodone. Anyway....my darling fellow Dawg, Anna was able to enjoy the seats and boy did she and the crew represent well. They even took me with them & respectfully sat me atop a beer can...I have AWESOME friends. Check it out:As for my shoulder...the stiches are out and PT continues. My body was worn out after last week. I slept 12 hours on Saturday and 10 hours on Sunday. Today is the first day I have truly felt good. This morning I got to remove the steri-strips and take a REAL shower. I still don't have, nor am I allowed the range of motion to wash/dry my own hair, but to take a full shower was definately a great way to start off the week. It's the little things....I've also been able to ride the bike @ the gym 2 days in a row which makes me very happy. The scar looks really good and I've been told it should heal nicely and be very faint. Dr. Toth is AMAZING for the work she's done and for the great care that her and her entire team has given me over the past 8 months!! I'm still moving around slowly as I cannot do much of anything w/ my left arm. But overall I'm getting around pretty well. I'm still having some problems getting comfortable sleeping @ night, but only a couple more weeks and I'll be FREE from the contraption. Wahoooooo!!! That's all for now.
