Sacred Heart Cathedral Honors those who need GF Communion....

Maybe I'm wayyyy outta the loop, but I've been keeping my eyes & ears open for a Catholic Church that offers/allows GF host for those of us who are Celiacs for a while now. Thanks to the GF Raleigh Blogspot, I just came across the following information which has been stated in the church bulletin from Sacred Heart Cathedral in downtown Raleigh. ALLEUIA & thank you Sacred Heart.

For those who are Gluten-intolerant
In keeping with the Diocesan norms during this time of the
H1N1 practices, the Cathedral will make available the lowgluten
hosts for our gluten-intolerant parishioners.
Beginning this weekend and going forward, those requiring the
low-gluten hosts at Communion are asked to check in with
either the Mass Coordinator or the Sacristan before the start of
Mass so that we can be sure the proper hosts are made available
for you. When receiving Communion, you are asked to use the main
aisle and to declare your need to the priest or the EM at the
time of reception. If you are accustomed to bringing your own
hosts to Mass and would like to continue that practice, you
certainly may.
