One of the many things on my "to do" list in life, is to get down to Moreland, Georgia to visit the Lewis Grizzard Memorial Museum. BTW, am I the only one who thinks he's rolling over in his grave at the idea of him being showcased via a "museum"??? I'm thinking they should've gone with calling it something a little bit more laid back. Maybe a bar setting of sorts? Or a place that serves up grits and whiskey all under one roof? Just my two cents.
Anyway, Lewis Grizzard is one of my all time favorite smart asses. He's a legend. And this upcoming weekend the town of Moreland is hosting the "Lewis Grizzard's Hometown Reunion" to honor him and all his wit. Go Dawgs!
