An Update on the Girls

"The girls" are continuing to do wonderful at their foster home.  The kind folks who are homing them, have given them so much love, good eatin' and the happiness of a huge pasture of their very own.  I was blessed to spend some time with them over Labor Day and I hope to see them again here soon.  It only took a couple days before the girls seems to realize it was me.  At one point, Sue fell right into my chest as if to hug me.  It was so endearing & provided me with some much needed "equine therapy".  
I groomed her and watched her fall into her comfort zone just like she used to do when I cared for her at OGLF.  The grain and hay are clearly doing them all good as their coats look absolutely fabulous!!  Both mares are continuing to gain weight and are feeling better.  It's been amazing to see the transformation that they have made.

The babies have grown so much!!!  Hattie continues to be a heathen. Always into something and trotting around like the diva she is.  Whoever adopts her is in for some prime time entertainment.

My sweet Saoirse girl is just that, sweet!!  Her coat has really started to come in and it's absolutely beautiful.  She is eating grain 2x day and has access to all the hay her little heart desires out in the pasture like a big girl now.  I remain so intrigued by the markings on her legs.  They are so cool looking.  And those eyes....oh those beautiful eyes.  They speak to me, just like her momma's.
