Fillies are Fabulous!

In my last update, the weaning process had begun.  This has gone really well, and when the time was right, the mares were moved to a new foster home where they will hopefully be adopted out to their forever home(s) when the vet deems them ready.    

Hattie & Saoirse remain at D's farm where they are doing fabulous!! They girls are both continuing to gain weight, are working on basic groundwork & they're learning about manners.  Hattie is coming along nicely when it comes to walking via a lead rope.  Saoirse however is requiring a bit more time with this.  But that's okay.  She is slowly showing some progress and working towards trusting us humans. Watching the girls with the geldings will bring pure joy to your heart. It's so cool to see the boys mentor them and watch over them.  Animals are amazing creatures!!
