Turtle Pillows

A few years ago, my friend Paigeann bought this fabric stating she was going to make me something from it.  She died before getting the opportunity to craft up whatever it was that she had planned for this fabric.  This summer, I was helping to move some stuff out of her house and her mom said "hey Turtle, I came across this fabric that Paigeann bought for you.  I have no idea what she had planned to create but if you want, I will make you some pillows or something out of it".  I was beyond honored.  A few weeks ago, I visited with Paigeann's mom where she presented me with these pillows.  She used the leftover fabric to craft me up a little pouch that I take with me in my purse (usually for my sunglasses).  It's the little things in life like this that have the most meaning and provide the heart with such warmth and sparkling memories of a dear friend.
