My Eyeballs Were as Huge as a Round Brush

Lots has happened in the past couple of weeks w/ the girls, including being moved to another farm.  It's actually a farm closer to me so I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing them next week sometime. :)  Many of us are also anxiously awaiting the next court date & what the judge will rule at this time, if anything.  In the meantime, I visited with the girls at their previous foster farm prior to their move last week.  It was a lovely sun shiny day and all was going well w/ a good grooming and just hanging out.  All of a sudden, Saoirse reared up on her 2 hind legs (inside the stall I might add) and proceeded to try and clear the stall door.  This turned out poorly for her.  She was hanging over the stall door with the front part of her body & her front two legs hanging over one side of the door and her hind legs were hanging over the other side of the stall door. My eyes went huge and I'm pretty sure I said "oh shit" more than once. Looking back, I wish I had snapped a pic of this predicament b/c it was insane.  Thank god, I was able to calm her down enough to unlatch the stall door.  I then told her "okay girl, you got yourself into this mess, figure it out and shimmy yourself off of the door".  Took her about a minute and she was able to get herself out of the mess she got herself into.  She ran out to the pasture where I was able to coerce her back into the stall so I could check her over for cuts, scrapes, lacerations or worse.  Luckily, it was all minor scrapes.  I assessed each one and applied the proper care to them.  She's healing just fine and she & Hattie had a safe move to their new foster farm.  Here's a few pics prior to her ridiculous stunt.  Enjoy!
Besties!

All groomed & ready to load up on the trailer!

Saoirse Kisses

I wonder if she was plotting her
stall door theatrics right here...
