Lil' Larry

I've always said that I'd never have a puppy.  Well, never say never, b/c on 7 Jan 2016, I rescued one from a guy who wasn't caring for this little guy at all.  The story he gave me was one of lies on top of lies.  I knew immediately I couldn't let this pup go back w/ the guy so I took him in.  I got him to the vet ASAP where I was informed he was severely dehydrated & eaten up with hook worms.  But with some love & TLC, within a few weeks Lil' Larry was doing great.  Gaining weight, feeling better and worm free!!

I named him "Larry", after the legend Larry Munson!!  I often refer to him as Lil' Larry or Larry Bear.  I'm still not certain his mix.  The vet seems to think he is a Greater Mtn Swiss Dog.  He's been in my care now for 6wks and I tend to think he has some Bull Terrier in him and maybe Greater Mtn Swiss or Shephard.  He's very smart, but also a little shit at times b/c he can be very mischievous.  In the first week, he learned his name & how to stay out of the bathrooms.  We're currently working on sit, stay and leash walking.  And of course we're still mastering housebreaking, although overall, he's doing really good with this.  My only "complaint" at present is if he doesn't stop digging in my flower beds we're gonna have a problem!!  HAAAAAAA!!
