MLB Ft Bragg!!!

I was honored to be able to experience history being made by getting to attend the first ever MLB game played on a military base.  It was awesome!  As a Braves fan for over 30 years, this opportunity meant even more so to me.  Especially over the 4th of July as I sat amongst so many service members who have fought for my freedom. 

Each week as I headed to rugby practice, I'd pass by where they were building the stadium.  It was really cool to watch it go up and then get the opportunity to sit inside the stadium on game day.  Watching a Braves game within a small ballpark was definitely a rare opportunity and one that I'll remember for years to come. My favorite part was getting to stand right up at the bullpen like it was no big deal.  So grateful to my teammates & friends for getting me a ticket to this amazing historical event.
