This weekend kicked off the Fall Season for the Bragg Ruggers. Even though we lost, my ladies (most of whom were new & playing their 1st match) gave 100% and everyone utilized the match as a learning opportunity. We worked together as a team and never gave up. In addition, it makes me very proud to be playing with a team of ladies who maintained their composure & sportsmanship under gruff circumstances. It's an honor to play w/ a team of women who respect the game, the team and themselves.The Bragg Men whipped Cape Fear's ass. That is all.
The Dawgs lost to the Gamecocks. There are no words for this other than I'm glad we didn't get completely waxed. Overall, there were a lot of wacky football games this weekend & it took a toll on my picks. And we all know my picks are usually golden. :)
